Globalisation

General
  • Globalisation Guide - this site has been especially written for senior secondary students. It provides information on globalisation and associated issues such as its affect on equality, culture, industry and the environment. Each key question presents the arguments of both those who believe globalisation is a force for good and those who believe it is a force for evil.

The Australian APEC Study Centre, which has put the Globalisation Guide together, avowedly supports globalisation. The experience of the countries in the Asia-Pacific has been that freeing of trade and the integration of economies has brought improvement in prosperity. The site is easy to use and is especially useful for those studying globalisation in economics, politics, geography, social sciences and international relations/trade.

  • Is globalisation inevitable?
